Hey ladies– here are two really cool games/apps

Hey everyone! Sorry it’s been forever– but most of the activity in our guild takes place in our closed FB group, and things have been crazy busy.  Yes– we still have a crew playing SWUP– though I think we have sunk some in the rankings– last time I checked we were somewhere around rank 20– but I could be wrong about that.

Anyway– I’ve personally been playing a lot of different games lately– both single player and multi-player, but wanted to talk about a couple of games I think several of my lady friends would love.

The first is a ‘true’ coloring app called Pigment.

A downloaded upwards of 15 different coloring apps up on the App Store, and was always super pissed off. Rather than actually ‘coloring’ anything, you would select a color, and then tap an area to color. Unfortunately, all the apps just ‘colored’ the sections for you. I recently got an iPad Pro along with an Apple Pencil, and wanted an app that would let me use the pencil to color with, stroke by stroke. I hit pay dirt with this app. It’s absolutely fantastic. I chose to pay for the subscription, as it allowed me access to the specialty coloring pages, as well as unlocked specialty colors and shades to use.

This app lets you change your colored pencil brush to a water color brush, and even gives you an option for things like a marker. You can change the opacity of your colors, change the width of your brushes– just about everything is customizable.

You’ll have to excuse the coloring itself, as I was just testing the app– so it’s not my best work, lol. This app is awesome, and Jay mentioned to me that it’s been optimized for an Apple Pencil as well, so using one with this app has been fantastic.

I heard this is only available on the App Store and not the Google Play store, but haven’t verified that personally.

The second app I wanted to show you guys is called Let’s Create! Pottery HD. This game is actually not at all new, but it’s held up in time, imo. Now that I have a bigger device– playing it has become even more awesome. The crux of this game, is that you create pottery pieces, shape them, fire them and then paint them. You can follow your ‘quest’ line and create specific shapes and patterns to sell for specialty gifts and money in order to get more paints and materials to make better pots. For those of you with a creative streak– this game is super fun and beautiful.
